On November 19, 2010, the Columbia University chapter of Engineers Without Borders hosted Beyond Borders 2010, the annual opportunity for CU-EWB to showcase themselves to the Columbia community
The students of the Ghana, India, and Uganda programs presented the projects they’ve been working on throughout the semester.
GUEST SPEAKER: Marty Odlin from the Bamboo Bike Project. The Bamboo Bike Project aims to examine the feasibility of implementing cargo bikes made of bamboo as a sustainable form of transportation in Africa.
GUEST PERFORMER: Orisha!
A delightful night of networking , engineering buzz, and free Indian and Ethiopian food was enjoyed by all 200+ participants from the Columbia community and the EWB New York Professionals.
