1. Program Updates:
Ghana-Didn’t win the Stay Classy Award. Ready to submit 521 for the winter trip. Team elections are coming up on the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Will prepare for Beyond Borders table on Wednesday.
Uganda- MFP and water team underway. On our Beyond Borders table, we will have a model rainwater harvesting system, pieces of the MFP, and a poster. We were wondering how we reserve tickets for our Beyond Borders meeting.
India-Finishing the project close-out application.
2. Conference Updates
A. Derek- We would like to host the EWB-USA Northeast Regional Workshop next year! Application is due soon!
Sarah- We held the conference successfully in 2006.
WHERE could we hold it? WHERE could we house attendees?
We would have to move Beyond Borders to the Spring, or combine it with the Conference. Group decision: No, don’t combine it.
Offering discounted rate to Columbia students.
Consider: Burden on the new E-Board. (Maybe the new E-Board will be SUPER excited to host the conference and would be upset if we didn’t apply for this now.)
